MY STORY
Wow! What an incredible journey it’s been so far! My name is Gaby Vera and I come from the beautiful country of Ecuador in South America. My international and cultural experiences make up the cornerstone of what I represent both professionally and personally. Every single one of my clients is truly unique and that recognition reflects the detail and attention I put into each beauty experience I provide. You will feel like the only one…..guaranteed!
I am a Saint Louis based makeup artist, hair stylist, and lash expert that specializes in event and bridal makeup as well as self-makeup courses.
Growing up and completing my early formal training in a Latin American country, where the beauty industry is extremely competitive and very reputable, has provided me with the know-how to comprehend many different styles and then offer those to my customers. Before moving to the United States, I graduated from ESPOL University in Guayaquil, Ecuador and then earned my stylist certification from the renowned Pivot Point Academy. I invested in and co-owned Cocoa Spa & Hair Salon where I learned invaluable lessons about business and its operations. It was then when I realized my love for teaching and began sharing all the tips & pearls of wisdom I had learned with other makeup artists.

I have a family with my husband, Tom, and son, Noah, with whom I love to explore St. Louis and travel internationally just as much as I can! Whether it’s finding the steepest hill on which to go sledding on one of our snow-filled days or relaxing with a book and drink poolside on a steamy July afternoon, this city has given so much to me and I truly value all that I have.
I spend most of my weekends traveling to my brides and other clients to make them feel beautiful on their big day. I have my own studio space where I take clients on weekdays as well.
